Christmas is Over

Well, after all the anticipation, after a few hours of cleaning up wrapping paper and empty toy boxes it's done. We did the family thing and went to the Christmas Dinner and visited for about 3 hours. Came home and it was like any other day just with more toys to fight over (which with 5 kids in one house is usually what we get). I think for next year I'm going to start buying my presents for everyone a little at a time. Like Pick a sister a month and get a few items for them and then the next month pick another sister and thier family. That way I can get everyone something and not be broke all at once.
I'm doing any New Year's Resolution again this year. I thought about it since I didn't do any for 2008. But I don't like the idea of concentrating on one or two things and obsessing over them and feeling bad for myself if I don't get them accomplished. Kinda depressing thought. This last year I was able to lose some weight by going back to work at the mill. Really proud that I can fit into a size 6 again. :)-

My 1st gingerbread House

yesterday I made my 1st house. lol The kids had so much fun watching me and trying to steal my candy. as you can see I didnt do all that well but as a first it's not too bad ( i hope) lol I ended up cutting the corner of the icing bag too big so that was a big problem. As of this morning i had no candy on one side of the roof and no snowman, no "snow" or candy on the ground. I seriously doubt it will last the rest of the day. At least i got some pics before it went under seige. well Merry x-mas everyone

First Blog

Well I finally set up a blog. I don't know how often i will post one but we will soon find out won't we? lol It's almost Christmas and I have all of Kenny's gifts bought and wrapped. I can't wait to see his face when he opens them. He's at his Daddy's this weekend so it's quiet without him. You get used to the chaos that is when you enter our home.
