I RAN!!!
OK I know that 1 mile will not solve everything. But I've heard that the journey of a thousand mile starts with a single step. So I will run again and again and will eventually reach that "thousand miles". For me that "thousand mile" is about 50lbs to start. I have finally got an addition built onto my home and now have the space to workout when the weather forces me inside. My youngest son has started to workout with me as he can. Too cute. I am hoping to influence my sons to keep moving as well so that they don't have to battle their weight like I have. My plan is to live like a kid. I remember that when I was a kid if I had to go anywhere I was running, always moving and never thinking what I looked like to others. Too bad as adults we lose that interest in self. Well until next time, keep steppin.

Yay! I'm with you on trying to live like a kid. It's too easy to be a boring adult, then we teach our kids to be boring adults. Why not teach them that just because you're older does not mean that you can't run, jump, skip, and play. I love running. I love doing 5k's and hope to do a 10k and a half marathon next year. If I let a few days go between running days I end up wondering why I do this. Running makes me happy, helps with my moods, and has other nice side effects. Great job, sis, keep up the good work.
